Whats some super easy guitar songs for acoustic?

I want simple so it appears natural but a Led Zeppelin or Clapton (Tears in Heaven) style of picking sounds great please help simple but impressive for the lady's.....lol

If you have your own you can use an alternate tuning, like tuning to an open D or open G. This will give you shimmering sounds with a minimum of work. Dashboard Confessional does this on his first couple of albums - I think his guitar is in open D5 or something like that.

Goo Goo Dolls have some songs in alternate tunings (Name, Iris, etc) that just sound amazing... I think Johnny said that when he wrote Name it was the first time he felt like a songwriter....

So learn a power chord or two, a few guitar shapes, then start tuning your guitar to different notes and trying those shapes over them to see if you can come across some magic.

That aside, there is no way of making something impressive with no work involved on a normal guitar in standard tuning. You've gotta put some work in.

Practice your scales, practice your chords, and try to find ways you can incorporate open strings into your riffs and chords - ringing out sounds good and helps keep a cohesive feel to a song.
